There are very few things that make me happier than the fall and winter season. I love being able to pull out my sweaters, booties and scarves. But, lately I’ve been reaching for my new poncho sweater whenever there’s a little chill in the air. So, today I’m teaming up with DownEast to share 2 reasons why you need to invest in one this season!

About DownEast

“Our guilt-free shopping experience began in 1991, where our mission was, and still is, to always provide the very best styles at the very best prices. Still family owned and operated out of Salt Lake City, Utah- we strive to pack our stores full of chic clothing and furniture, plus the best national brands- all at amazingly low prices.”

THEY’RE JUST WARM ENOUGH

I love how warm poncho sweaters are while not suffocating you with heat! Since we live in Texas, there is no way I can wear a thick sweater or heavy jacket in the fall or early winter months. This poncho sweater has been perfect for these cooler days here in Houston! I love adding this poncho sweater to my wardrobe because it makes such a great statement!  You can easily pair this poncho sweater from DownEast with a skirt, so that you don’t get overheated in warmer weather.

THEY ARE SO VERSATILE

I love how I can pair this poncho sweater with a statement necklace and some adorable loafers to really give it a festive look! But I also wore it with a wool skirt, black polka dot tights to work and got so many compliments! You could definitely dress it up or down for any occasion. Did I mention how you could use the poncho sweater from DownEast with so many colors? You could easily use dark or light colors to fit any cool weather no matter the season!
