Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayons

This is my first Prestige Beauty Voxbox from Influenster, and I'm super excited to unbox and review with you guys! It contains three full sized Bite Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayons in shares of Cava, Red Velvet, and Glacé.

I normally just stick to my go to brand when it comes to matte lip products because it seems like it’s hard for cosmetics companies to really nail (formula wise). Either the products aren’t really matte and move around a lot or your lips dry out so bad they begin to hurt. Most matte lip products don’t last long or they just flake like crazy… you understand by now! However, Bite Beauty have absolutely nailed this water resistant, matte lip formula – they’re unlike anything I’ve ever tried.

Bite Beauty is renowned for producing high quality, paraben-free, food grade products that contain antioxidants. They’re also cruelty free and gluten free. I had seen their products around in stores but I never tried them before.

Glacé has got to be my favorite of the three. It’s a dusty mauve shade with warm undertones. I find it’s a shade darker than my natural lip color and has some brown to it. So flattering and on-trend!

These are so creamy; they go on with a satin or semi-matte finish. As the product sets on the lips, the high shine seems to wear off, making the finish appear more matte. They stay put for a good 6-8 hours, sometimes longer (depending on food/drink). Incredibly long-lasting! There is neither feathering nor bleeding. I don’t know how to describe the scent – I’d say it reminds me of lemon, but it’s not strong or unpleasant at all.

High color payoff.

Long lasting.

Comfortable wear.

Gorgeous shade range.

They’re pricey.

Lots of wastage when sharpening.

If you’re looking for an ultra-matte lipstick, then these are not for you.

I can wholeheartedly vouch for these amazing lip crayons. The formula is just fantastic! These are so addictive and I am already planning on picking up Cognac and Truffle for the colder months.
